Welcome party
A main feature of PaPI conferences is the friendly atmosphere. We have planned a welcome party for the late afternoon of 24th June (18.00-20.00), at the Casa-Museu Nogueira da Silva (http://www.mns.uminho.pt/). Besides meeting old and new colleagues and having some light food and drinks (including the famous Vinho do Porto), this will be the best moment for participants to make their registration and get all documentation for the conference.

June 24 coincides with the festivities of São João, which are the most important popular festivities in the region. Lots of noise and large crowds are to be expected in this joyful season in the city centre. After the welcome party, everyone is invited to join the crowd in the streets of Braga. Important tip: consider bringing earplugs for the night.

Conference dinner
Conference dinner will take place on the evening of June 26. PaPI2007 participants will be requested to choose between three menus (vegetarian, fish and meet) during the registration (more information will be available on site).

Tour+dinner
After the workshops held on the 27th June, we propose to the participants of PaPI 2007 a short tour to the countryside. The tour will end with a dinner with local gastronomy, and is kindly offered by the Vila Verde’s City Hall. Vila Verde is very close to Braga. The tour is expected to provide some insight into the beauty of Minho region. More information on Vila Verde may be found at http://www.cm-vilaverde.pt/indexxx.cfm. Departure from the University at 16.00 and return after dinner to the city centre. Participants are requested to register for the tour (the number of participants is limited, so please register for the tour as soon as possible!).
